1. About FlowState

FlowState is a job management platform for trade and service businesses, operated by SDE Services, Sydney, NSW, Australia. Contact us at flowstateappsupport@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or your business. FlowState is intended for business use by contractors, service professionals, and field service businesses.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at flowstateappsupport@gmail.com

4. Subscription and Payments

FlowState offers a free 14-day trial. After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription at the rate displayed at time of sign-up (currently $15 AUD/month).

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe
• You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• We do not offer partial-month refunds unless required by Australian Consumer Law
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use FlowState only for lawful business purposes. You must not:

• Use the platform to send spam, unsolicited messages, or harass others
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data without permission
• Impersonate another person or business
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or damages the service

6. Your Data

You own the data you enter into FlowState — your jobs, clients, quotes, and invoices. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for ensuring that any personal data you enter about your clients complies with applicable privacy laws, including the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

7. SMS Messaging

FlowState includes an optional SMS booking feature. You are solely responsible for:

• Obtaining appropriate consent from recipients before sending messages
• Complying with the Australian Spam Act 2003 and any applicable telecommunications regulations
• The content of messages sent through the platform

We are not responsible for SMS delivery failures or costs charged by your mobile carrier.

8. PDF Documents

Quotes and invoices generated by FlowState are created from information you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of all financial figures, ABN details, and other information appearing in your documents. FlowState does not provide accounting, legal, or tax advice.

9. Uptime and Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. FlowState may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.

10. Intellectual Property

FlowState, its design, branding, and underlying code are owned by SDE Services. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

You retain ownership of content you create (jobs, quotes, invoices). We make no claim to your business data.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

• FlowState is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service
• Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid in that period

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by contract.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days then deleted.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of FlowState after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
